1. Virtual Professional Learning: Tools for Anti-Racist Teaching (PBS Education)

In this four-part series beginning July 21, learn about tools for anti-racist teaching and consider the ways in which we can use media and media literacy to deepen our understanding of systemic racism. Register for one or more of these discussions here.

2. A book that teaches children ‘Why We Stay Home’ (PBS NewsHour)

The uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic has upended the daily lives of children across the globe, leaving parents and caregivers struggling to explain the changes. Two medical students in California say their desire to help bridge that gap in understanding inspired them to write a free children’s book, titled “Why We Stay Home.” Authors Samantha Harris and Devon Scott share their story. 3. Camp Khan Kids

Camp Khan Kids is a fun, free 4-week virtual summer camp for children ages 2-7. Starting July 6th, the camp guides parents and children in a playful educational journey using Khan Academy Kids materials. Learn more here.
