Happy New Year! The holiday decorations are down — it’s the season of renewal and blank canvases. I admit that I still get a little melancholy around this time of year (the lack of sunlight doesn’t help.) But it doesn’t last long. To help inspire you this month, here’s a list of ideas for January.

Summer, you might think, is a break from education for us. It’s not really. We tend to go lighter on curriculum but the learning never stops. I have a bunch of activities planned from strawberry picking and fishing to festivals, tea time and field trips. We have our first official dance recital coming up which
