Family Fun Inspiration for May 2020
It’s the merry month of May. The weather is warmer, the garden is starting to really take off and we’re definitely outside more often. We’re still on a “stay-at-home” order until the threat of COVID-19 passes and collectively, as a society, we are able to flatten the curve. I wrote that last sentence in April. Not much has changed really. There are ups and downs for all of us and we’re managing it the best way we know how. Inspiration helps to keep our sanity in check. I like to look at lists like these as help for my future self. For the days when I’m scratching my head of “what to do, now?” So here are a few of things that are inspiring my family this month, I hope it inspires you.
MAKE
- Pine Cone Bird Treat
- Recycled Crayons
- Baked French Toast
- Kale Chips
- Vanilla Ice Cream

EXPLORE/WATCH
I decided to combine Explore and Watch together this month because of our “stay at home” order. As of late, there are a ton of digital resources available to virtually participate in events at home. I’m also including a few favorite family programs we enjoy watching together.

- Backyard campout
- Audubon for Kids: Weekly Bird Themed Activities and Resources
